Letters – Washi Style #TBCCrafters (03/06/14) 8

Letters – Washi Style” #TBCCrafters Hop

I’ve been hearing a lot about Washi Tape and have never been able to use it before.  I finally found some and wanted to play around with it.  I had seen a craft like this on Melissa’s Blog and wanted to try it!  Looked easy and would add a little bump of color to a boring spot on your wall or wherever you decided to display it.

I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on and share this #TBCCrafters craft!!

Letters – Washi Style” Craft

Materials/Tools Needed:

A1

Instructions:

Start by attaching your Washi Tape over the letter horizontally or vertically – your choice.  Be sure to have no space in between the lines of tape.

A2

Next, using your scissors, trim the excess tape from the top, and other areas, as needed.  You could also just have this go around the sides, if you’re going to hang it on the wall.  Wouldn’t need to trim it.  If you want to paint your letter first, and be able to see the edges a certain color, then just trip it at the top edge.

A3

Now, just attach a hanger to the back and display it wherever you want.

Now, just hang it where you want to display it and enjoy!

I sure hope you like it!  Please take a minute to leave me a comment and let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc.  Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thanks!!

Hi Jamie,

It’s me Kathleen, one of your CLs! Happy to see you have a blog too!
Your WASHI “T” is beautiful! Our granddaughters enjoy making things from masking tape, even purses! Must be Washi tape!

Washi tape is one of the best crafting inventions ever! I love seeing how other people use it. Your craft letter is cute and I think even my kids could do a letter for their room.
