I recently heard about an opportunity to try out a belt from the Mission Belt Co. from The Brand Connection, and was so excited. I hurried over to the missioncompany’s webpage to look at what they offered, and there were so many choices…and all with no holes!!!! That is genius.

Who doesn’t have problem with either the holes ripping or not having enough, too many, etc.? I definitely wanted to get one to let my husband try it out. He wears his slacks sometimes and likes to wear a belt with them, but most of the ones he has are too thick and always have the extra holes that need to be tucked in.

I placed my order online, and it sure didn’t take long for the package to get here.  It was packaged really well in a small box and I could just see me buying another for a gift for someone in my family.  Would be extra easy to mail out of state, etc.  But, I’m sure the company would ship it to whoever you wish, so maybe I’ll just do that. :-/

Here is how it came:mission

I even tried it on myself and was really impressed at how easy it was to put on, and remove.  Only a slight push on the latch and it comes off so easily.  Plus, it only comes off when you push that, no slippage at all, so it will stay in place for a long time.

missionMy husband tried it on and said that is was very easy to adjust and was very comfortable.  He said he can’t wear it to work because of the latch – he works on cars, so there are special belts that mechanics have to wear – but he said he would love tomission wear it with his dress pants for when we go out, go to church, etc.  Said it was a very good size, comfortable and a great color.  I told him that there were many other colors to choose from, I just picked a basic black, since I knew it would go with everything in his wardrobe.  The one thing he did wonder about was how long the teeth inside the belt would last (that the latch hooks on to), being that they are plastic.  From research I have done on reviews, some said that it had fallen apart after 3 months and they weren’t able to return it – however I have heard that the company does stand behind their products, so I’m sure if they were to contact them, something would be done.  I’ve also heard that there is another brand of belt that is pretty much the same, and is $10 cheaper than this one with better quality.  However Mission Belt does give back with their donations to fight global hunger & poverty, so at least you’re making a difference through the purchase.

This is definitely something I would be interested in buying more of.  When you look at their site, there are so many different options….colors, styles, etc.  Something that would go with every outfit and even other products like hats, t-shirts and really cool gift boxes that would be perfect to store these in your closet, etc.

Thanks Brand Connection for letting us try this out – we are really impressed with the quality, workmanship, style and price!

Wonderful review! My hubby does seem to like the belts that are leather and have two rows of holes the entire length of the belt. He is very thin and won’t go without a belt. My middle son is very much the same way. Have a great week! #ibablogger

I love that the belt has holes every 1/4 inch, I think that’s a common problem for some people. This looks like a belt my hubby would wear, too. He has to wear special belts at work since he also works on cars. That video was pretty entertaining! The belt looks so easy to use and since it’s interchangeable, that sounds like you get more for your money. Of course, this sounds like an great company to buy from since they give back and help fight hunger. That’s always a bonus to look for when making purchases. Pinning and sharing… Read more »
