Share Some “Hot Chocolate for the New Year” #TigerStrypesBlog 3

Start The New Year Off Right With Special Hot Chocolate” #TBCCrafters Hop

I haven’t had much time yet this month to do very crafty crafts, so I figured I’d keep this week easy.  You can always make the good old hot chocolate with the old school marshmallows, or have fun with the kids and let them create some that are a bit more decorative and fun!!

These were pretty easy to make and you could embellish them with any style of crafting sugar or sprinkles – whatever you want to use!!  I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on and share this #TBCCrafters craft!!

Start The New Year Off Right With Special Hot Chocolate Craft

Materials/Tools Used:

  • Marshmallows
  • Cookie Cutters
  • Cookie Sugars/Sprinkles
  • Hot Chocolate/Cocoa
  • Mugs
  • & Time!

Instructions:

Start by cutting your marshmallows into a shape. I found that the flat marshmallows that you use for S’Mores worked the best.hot

Next, you can dip the top of the marshmallow into water (not all the way), just enough so that the sprinkles will stay attached.  Then dip them into some sprinkles that you have spread out on a plate.hot

Now just add them to your hot chocolate, and enjoy!!hot

Hope you like it!  Please take a minute to leave me a comment and let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc.  Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thanks!!

My kids love any chance to break out the cookie cutters! Cute idea. It won’t be too long before it will be all about heart cut-out marshmallows. 🙂

That’s super cute. I’m going to try this for the kids the next time we have hot chocolate.
