letitbejesusWonderful Worship From Christy Nockels

#LetItBeJesus

I received the “Let It Be Jesus” album by Christy Nockels, from FlyByPromotions to listen to and give my opinion. I had not heard of Christy before, but after listening to her music, I am definitely now a fan. I’m usually one to not really like the sound of women singing. Not sure why, but I think that a lot of the stars today have that voice that makes you want to put your fingers in your ear and hum. Christy is definitely NOT in that category. She has a wonderful voice, and really makes you feel the worship she is singing, and want to join in.

Christy Nockels reminds me so much of  a friend that we have that lives in California, named Lori Kibbe.  Lori was a singer on the worship team at the church that we attended, and had one of those voices that you just melted, when you heard it. There are just those certain people, that can make you feel that the Lord is there, as you worship. Christy definitely fits into that category, as well.  Her sound makes you feel as if you are a part of the crowd listening to this great singer give praise to our Lord.

All of the music on the CD was amazing, and it’s great to go onto her website, and see how excited she is to have this album coming out. It is something that she is proud of, and I am proud to help her get the word out about it to all of you. Be sure to enter to win a copy below and tell your friends about this amazing artist!!

About The Album:
Nashville, Tenn. (March 16, 2015) — Whether in arenas for Passion Conferences or in the auditorium of Passion City Church, Christy Nockels is known for leading thousands in heartfelt worship, and April 28 will mark the release of her first ever live worship album, Let It Be Jesus. Recorded live at Passion City Church in Atlanta, the album captured a night full of praise to God.

“I can’t wait to release this offering and to share what a beautiful night this recording was,” Nockels said. “Something so unforgettable happened as we worshipped Jesus together in wonder and remembrance.”

The live album will feature several brand new worship songs along with a new recording of “Let It Be Jesus,” which was previously included on Passion: Take It All.

As a featured leader at the Passion Conferences, Nockels recently led thousands of young adults in worship at Passion 2015 alongside Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Kristian Stanfill, Matt Redman and more. Her performance of “My Anchor” is featured on Passion: Even So Come, an album recorded live at Passion 2015, set to release March 17.

About Christy Nockels:
letitbejesusAs a worship leader for many years, she has been an integral part of Passion Conferences from its inception in 1997. She’s seen first hand music sweep people into the presence of God in a powerful way. A pastor’s kid, who was born in Fort Worth and raised in Oklahoma, she grew up singing in church. She met her husband, Nathan, in 1993 at the Christian Artists Seminar in Estes Park, Co. They recorded an independent record with fellow worship leader Charlie Hall under the name Sons & Daughters that led to an invitation from Louie Giglio to participate in the first Passion conference in Austin. Christy’s voice gained a national platform when she and Nathan formed the duo Watermark, recording four acclaimed albums before that musical season ended, paving the way for Christy’s solo career. In 2008, the couple moved to Atlanta to become part of Passion City Church where she serves on the worship team with sixstepsrecords labelmates Chris Tomlin and Kristian Stanfill. The following year, Nockels released her acclaimed solo debut, Life Light Up and spent much of the next two years touring with Tomlin and Passion.

I’m so glad I stopped by from the Creative K Kids link up this week! I found her video and her music to be beautiful, like you said! I entered to win the CD. She reminds me of my sister-in-law, Vanessa, who also has an amazing voice and a passion for worship. I’m always looking for new, Christ-edifying music. Thanks for your review!
